Quality Specialist - 2nd Shift
Summary: Seeking a candidate that demonstrates a strong ability to understand and communicate plans and instructions, relating to the Quality objectives of the RFC team. Demonstrate the ability to perform as a Quality Technical Specialist and support the Indiana quality assurance and manufacturing operations. Candidate must be able to perform all duties of a Quality Technician Level III. Monitors the process documentation, performs online audits, generates documents, coordinates projects and works with suppliers and customers to maintain day to day operations. Schedules and works with customer source representative for approval of product, gauges and tooling.
Responsibilities:
- Understand all aspects of the Quality System requirements in order to develop methods to utilize resources in the best possible way to ensure day to day operations are not interrupted by:
- Performing daily product audits of all lines to verify all quality requirements.
- Quality staging audits required for product before shipments.
- Ensure all Operators are completing required documentation.
- Review all Manufacturing Books online to confirm correctness.
- Redline Documentation as required by Quality Group Leader to allow production to continue.
- MRB internal rejects as required by Quality Group Leader.
- Review/Calibrate measurement equipment as needed.
- Review and sign-off on ECRs, and Drawings as required by Quality Group Leader.
- Initiate, recommend, investigate, trouble-shoot and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconforming relating to the products, process and quality system.
- Develops and analyzesstatistical data to identify present product standards and establish quality standards for finished product to insure compliance with customer specifications:
- Create SPC Programs as required.
- Review current SPC Data to identify areas for improvement or reduced inspection.
- Implement and coordinate product quality objectives:
- Creation of Control Plans/Inspection Plans, MIP Sheets as needed.
- Identify areas of improvement with current documentation to streamline Operator inspections online.
- May interface with Customers and Suppliers to identify and resolve issues and pinpoint areas for improvement as required by Quality Group Leader.
- Participates in all aspects of the Advanced Quality Planning Process including:
- Facilitates Process FMEAs
- Develop Control Plans/Inspection Plans and MIP?s.
- Completes Customer PPAPs or First Article Submittals.
- Works within Team to develop and implement required gauging.
- Identifies improvements with equipment and gauging methods for current manufacturing processes.
- Be a Technical Resource for all personnel:
- Interpret and train employees concerning GD&T principles.
- Train employees on proper gauging techniques and measuring methods.
- Facilitates Root Cause/Corrective Action for both internal and external customer complaints.
Qualified applicants will have:
- High School Diploma or combination of education and experience
- Five years of experience and/or training in quality or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High standard of quality work and positive quality attitude
- Strong communication skills

Roll Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
(3:30 PM to 12:00AM Monday through Friday)
Seeking a skilled machine operator, who under direct supervision, and after completion of required orientation training, will perform tasks, such as; assisting in setting up tools, dies and equipment to operate roll forming machines to form material as specified by work order and specific blueprints and diagrams of the cross section. Load and unload parts on roll machines. Makes minor adjustments and performs coil and line changeovers.
Successful candidates will have:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 months related experience (machine set-up, metal fabrication or metal forming, rollforming)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings and perform quality inspections
- Ability to use the computer and manufacturing software
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment and frequently lift up to 50 lbs and use hand tools
- Ability to pass pre-employment math test, drug screen, physical exam and criminal background check.
