Inside Sales

Seeking a skilled professional to provide Sales support with travel, administrative tasks, and assists outside Sales Engineers in forecasting, pricing and various tasks/projects in order to allow them to better sell our products and services. Coordinate marketing and advertising activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Initiate request for estimates (RFE) and Material requests based on input from Sales Engineers.
  • Assist Sales Engineers in completing quotations.
  • Facilitate CI team projects.
  • Assist sales in generating forecast information.
  • Coordinate New Product Meeting Information and folder set-up.
  • Represent sales as project launch liaison.
  • Provide project updates to Sales Engineers.
  • Complete visitor notice forms.
  • Prepare ECR and drawing storage forms.
  • Be the point of contact for phone and web based inquiries.
  • Perform market research. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s Degree (Engineering, Business and/or Management).
  • 4 Years related experience (Business, Promotions, Marketing, Customer Service or Retail Management)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products as well as Spreadsheet and Word Processing software. 

Preferred:

  •   MBA
  •   Manufacturing experience including Aerospace or Aerospace supplier
  •   Technical background (tooling, manufacturing processes or similar)

Schedule:  First Shift, Working four or five (5) eight (8) hour days plus any overtime required.

Laser Weld Operator

Seeking a detail oriented, skilled operator with a understanding of laser weld equipment (Butt Weld and Seam Weld) and programming. Perform tasks such as; setting up tools and equipment to operate laser weld equipment for production to form/cut material as specified by work order and specific blueprints and diagrams, quality inspection of product, troubleshooting equipment and program errors. Complete and pass required seat track laser weld operator training curriculum.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Load and unload parts.
  • Possesses basic computer skills.
  • Setup machine, tooling, fixtures independently,
  • Knowledge of measuring tools to assure required quality standards are met.
  • Follows all verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation of the laser weld and cut machines and related equipment as well as any other jobs to which he/she may be assigned.
  • Optics cleaning and replacement, troubleshooting.
  • Calls equipment service department for assistance.
  • Understands machine errors and can recovers machine from errors.
  • New Product Tryouts
  • Trains all levels of operators.
  • Practices 5S
  • Knowledge of quality plans to include: Definition of Quality, Travelers, ISO 9002/D1-9000, Quality Plans
  • Participation in Continuous Improvement
  • Responsible for marking all laser welding work with issued Laser Weld Operator ? Certified stamp per BAC 5307.
  • Perform Visual Weld Inspection for Butt and Seam Welded Assemblies

Qualified Candidates requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Minimum 1-3 months related laser weld equipment and programming experience.
  • Production experience reading blueprints and diagrams
  • Available to work open shift and overtime as needed

Preferred requirements:
Consistent experience in manufacturing parts to include:

  • Setting up/running Laser Weld production equipment
  • Performing part inspections
  • Blueprint reading

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Supervising Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises employees and carries out responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws and the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure company objectives regarding processes, initiatives and projects are met following the company strategic planning, vision, mission and values.
  • Chmpions safety, quality and continuous improvement programs.
  • Prepares and maintains cost controls for department budget.

  • Insure that customers? specific requirements are properly interpreted and analyze customer requirements and determine produce improvements and/or additions.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Bachelor?s Degree
  • 5 - 10 years of experience managing other leaders and supervisors in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least one year experience in direct customer support.
  • At least one year experience in an Advanced Lean manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced computer skills in Microsoft Office Products and proficient in manufacturing systems such as ERP.
  • Experience in multiple aspects of manufacturing including Safety, Quality, Financials, and Cost systems.

Preferred applicants will also have:

  • Assists in improving processes in order to meet manufacturing standards

Roll Operator – 2nd shift

Monday through Friday - Overtime as Required

Seeking skilled machine operators, who under direct supervision, and after completion of required orientation training, will perform tasks, such as; assisting in setting up tools, dies and equipment to operate roll forming machines to form material as specified by work order and specific blueprints and diagrams of the cross section. Load and unload parts on roll machines. Makes minor adjustments and performs coil and line changeovers.

Successful candidates will have:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 months related experience (machine set-up, metal fabrication or metal forming, rollforming)
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings and perform quality inspections
  • Ability to use the computer and manufacturing software
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment and frequently lift up to 50 lbs and use hand tools.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment math test, drug screen, physical exam and criminal background check.

  • Performs accurate fitting, adjusting, assembling, straightening or packing parts.
  • Uses necessary measuring tools to ensure required quality standards are met. 
  • Keeps all required records and maintains a safe, clean work area. 
  • Retains knowledge of numerous part numbers and specifications.
  • Follows detailed verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation or assembly.

Weld/Fabricator

Seeking a skilled tradesman to be involved in welding and fabricating metal assemblies and weldments for manufacturing purposes. Uses machine tools, welding equipment and hand tools to fabricate products. Fabricator will use specifications, verbal instructions, and technical drawings to execute their duty of welding the metal pieces.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Welding
  • Operating safety working equipment and applying safety practice at work while performing his/her duties.
  • Welding parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead, etc.
  • Managing and identifying any fault in operating the equipment or in relation to any material or equipment, then notifying the Group Leaders.
  • Grind parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product.
  • Operating other accessory equipment and performing some tasks necessary for welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, mostly MIG welding.
  • Using heat and electricity to weld and unite metal parts for construction or manufacturing goals.
  • Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheat, distortion, expansion or shrink of spare parts.
  • Examining finish products and in-process parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.
  • Being in charge of preparing and setting up necessary tools and equipment for welding job such as wire, shielded metal arc, gas metal arc or other welding equipment.
  • Arranging and assuring the welded parts are arranged in order before being assembled into final products; operating such tools as square, caliper or height gage for this task.
  • Following standard operating procedures including quality function and performs at a rate that is required of that operation.
  • Fabrication
  • Positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding parts for the formation of sub units or complete units using jigs, hand tools, and welding torches.
  • Identifying information by recognizing similarities or differences, categorizing, estimating, and detecting modifications in events or circumstances.
  • Locating and marking work piece cutting and bending lines, allowing for welding and machine shrinkage, stock thickness and any other component specifications.
  • Providing detailed instructions, specifications, drawings or documentation to explain others about how the components are to be constructed, modified, maintained, assembled, or fabricated.
  • Studying blueprints and engineering drawings to determine project task sequences and requirements.
  • Laying out and examining metalwork pieces or stock to be processed for ensuring that client specifications are met.
  • Handling, positioning, moving, and installing materials using arms and hands and manipulating things.
  • Setting up and operating fabricating machines like rolls, brakes, flame cutters, drill presses, grinders, and shears to cut, form, drill, bend, and punch.
  • Inspecting materials, equipment, or structures for identifying the cause of problems or errors or defects.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum one year experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification is preferred or ability to get certification within 3 months of employmen
