Happy 100th day of school! We had a fun Friday celebrating this milestone. We enjoyed seeing the variety of objects the students each gathered to share with the class. We had bags filled with 100 legos, stickers, cereal, foam letters, candies, hearts, and googly eyes. Each school day, we keep track of how many days we have been in school using the golden bead material. ...

We had an exciting week full of school spirit. It was fun to see the children participating in the different daily themes. After the long weekend, the students were anxious to get back to work on their January studies. Working with clocks, making clocks, and telling time were very popular activities this week. Many of the students worked on learning the days of the week and months of the year. A few of the kindergarten friends worked with the days of the week in Spanish as well.
