The winners of the Catholic Education Foundation Annual Poster Contest and Annual Essay Contest were recently announced at the Catholic Schools Week Mass at St. Edward Church. Both contests were sponsored by the CEF Annual Fund. The poster contest asked students in Catholic elementary schools to make a poster that reflected the theme for Catholic Schools Week-”Catholic Schools-Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.” There were 3 divisions: K-2, 3-5 and 6-8. The essay contest asked students in Catholic high schools to write an essay telling how Catholic schools are “Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”
