Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville administer the TerraNova, 3rd edition, a norm-referenced achievement test, to students in grades 3, 5, and 7 TerraNova assesses the subject areas of reading, language, mathematics, science, and social studies. Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese of Louisville consistently perform above the national average on the TerraNova. St. Rita Catholic School administers the TerraNova test to students in mid-March every year.
