[How to put on the button cover and why it works]

All jeans are different, but our patent pending design is configured to work on most jeans. We not found a jean button the Shirt Guardian cannot be placed on, with the obvious exception of bubbled decorative buttons. Larger buttons will be more difficult to initially get the shirt guardian in place, but it will stretch and remember “just set it and leave it.” There is no need to take it on and off. There are a few jeans that have eyelets that are too small for the button and the shirt guardian to fit through. In some cases, excess jean material can be trimmed to the stitching, just be careful not the cut the stitching. Unfortunately, some jean button eyelets are too small and it simply work. Again, we have found most will. Use the photos below to compare and confirm your jeans are right for the Shirt Guardian prior to purchase.

Place the edge of the button in the corner of the eyelet. If there is a gap on the other side, then the Shirt Guardian should work on your jeans.
