Dr. Reichel handed out a sheet that listed all the IT Grants that our teachers have worked very hard to apply for, these applications have the potential to bring in over $4,000.

The Spaghetti Dinner was a success with 800 presale tickets and another 100 at the door.  The dinner is not a fundraiser but rather a community event.  PTO is looking to add an additional balloon person or child entertainer next year to reduce line.

Grandparent Bingo was also a success with attendance around 1500 people and having 3 sessions is working out great.

The Crusader Club will fund much needed classroom upgrades this year, which include things like desks and white boards.  The Club has brought in $31,400 to date.

The Outdoor Classroom construction is completed and is being used!  The Stations of the Cross and donor recognition items are being finalized.

The Fry is on Friday, March 10th, there is no school for ease of operation in setting up due to certain rules and regulations.

PTO has given Incarnation $16,000 in security upgrades.  The school now has a rolling DVR camera on every door, junior high hallway and at the parent pick up door.

PTO gave $37,000 towards the preschool addition.

The Playground is in need of safety updates which will include addition of mulch and fixing some equipment, the PTO has reserved $8500 towards these updates.

Ellen has emailed all necessary chairs the volunteer information from the PTO Needs You Form in an excel format.

The directories have been printed by a new company called Progressive Printing and is saving the school around $1500.

Ellen has been trying to get the PTO signed up for Amazon Smile but is having issues, if anyone can help please contact her.

Orchestra would like and needs $1400 for a new bass, but PTO would like to look into renting or having one donated.

The PTO sponsored Lion King performance will take place on January 17th and 18th.  The production needs an additional budget of around $4,000 to bus children to and from school to practice and other miscellaneous items.  Disney has strict rules that will only allow 750 seats sold at no more than $10 a ticket otherwise an admission fee is prohibited.

Andrea Traylor has agreed to look into having a Spring Food Truck Rally at Incarnation.

Christmas Festival

The Festival is Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4thand will be co-chaired by Jennifer Schilens and Amy Krug.   Friday will have more of an Advent focus rather than St. Nick, with the possible addition of a live nativity.  On Saturday, activities will include the Santa Shop, cupcake contest, professional pictures with Santa, Bingo and donations to adopt a family in need.  The 50/50 raffle, bounce house and silent auction will all be omitted this year.

Chess Club

Adria Patel is chairing the Chess Club; they currently have 50-60 children.

Coffee Socials

The next coffee social on Friday, October 21st will include the 4 area high school principals from Alter, CJ, Fenwick and Carroll.  The PTO is looking to do the following one in mid-January with Jessica Saunders from Dayton Children’s.

Box Tops

Brenda Palmer has volunteered to chair the Box Tops Committee and Carolyn Shockey will be her school liaison.  The school is no longer collecting Campbell Soup labels.

Destination Imagination

Jackie Astahoff is taking over for Maria Snizik.

Lego Robotics

James Rosario is looking to rent space for meetings since the school does not have space for a designated Lego table area.  Also, new rules prohibit coaches from managing money so PTO will take over this responsibility.

Respectfully submitted,

Heather Keighley
