What to do in an Emergency Situation

With the warmer weather taking its toll, and the golf season well underway, we would like to remind our membership to stay hydrated while out on the course. Our staff is checking the water coolers in a timely manner, however, emergency situations do arise. Here's what do to if an emergency situation does occur:

Step 1: Call the golf shop; our number is 614-514-4653. Our golf shop staff has been trained as what to do in an emergency situation. We ask you not to call 911 immediately; depending upon where the issue arose, it may be more efficient for the ambulance to enter in from the McCoy Rd/Maintenance entrance for faster response time.

Step 2: Let our golf shop staff know what hole you are on, what course, and what is going on; the staff will take it from here. We have first aid kits, as well as 3 emergency defibrillators on property located in the team building, maintenance building, as well as the clubhouse (inside men's locker room door).

Step 3: Keep them comfortable. Water coolers are readily available if needed. Our staff will be in contact with 911 (if needed), as well as Dennis' team. Depending upon where the emergency occurs, Dennis and his team may arrive on scene first.

We ask our membership to try and remember these few steps to keep friends and family safe if an emergency situation does occur.
