Dear Members,

We are doing our best to act like everything is normal at the Club when clearly things are not normal in our world; we will continue for as long as it is feasible and safe.  To be clear, there are no reported cases of COVID19 within our golf club membership or with any of our staff but we don’t live in a bubble.  Golf courses in Broward County, Florida – that’s Ft. Lauderdale – have been ordered to shut down.  Please be cautious.

I’m happy to share that currently we are able to offer an opportunity for you to purchase some basic kitchen items such as milk, eggs, homemade bread through the club for your convenience and safety.  The list may change and pick up/delivery times may vary based on the item but we are trying.  A list of available items is attached.

Other reminders and further initiatives to take effect at this time:

• Effective Immediately you are asked to return golf carts directly to the wash bay area behind the cart barn immediately after the completion of your round.  Gathering of carts around the 18^th green, the cart staging area or anywhere else for purposes of socializing or scoring is not permitted at this time.
• Driving Range balls will be sanitized with bleach each time the range is picked.  Please bring your own golf balls to the chipping and putting greens.  Leave range balls on the range!
• Alignment sticks, ball markers and tees have been removed from the range.
• Pencils thrown out after each use.
• Keep the flagstick in – no exceptions.  We have modified the cups so the ball rests only slightly below the surface.
• Golf Shop doors will be closed until further notice.  If you require something from the Shop, please notify us and we will place it in your locker or golf bag.  Tee times and questions? We’d love to hear from you - on the phone or via email.
• Most members utilize the Miromar Lakes Golf Club App– if you do not, please arrange a time to connect with Malorie via phone and she can assist.
• No future requests for family house guests.
• The Beverage Cart continues to operate at this time.  Please allow us to serve you as we request your hands stay out of the cart entirely.
• Locker Rooms remain open for restroom and personal locker use only.
• Carts in no later than 6:30
• Food and beverage will continue to operate on a takeout and delivery basis only. See attached menu offerings.
• Tuesday March 24, the kitchen will remain open for take-out dinner. Please preorder from the attached Prefix Menu.

Historically when enduring a crisis situation, we are encouraged to be around other people; getting out, activity and togetherness were the solution.  This is different.  Restrictions and limitations are the only answer.  As we attempt to remain open and operating we need your patience and understanding.  Many of you have communicated with me directly how appreciative you are that we are taking aggressive measures to ensure your safety; I am truly grateful for your support and kindness.  Please be safe.
