COVID-19 Club Updates 3/19/20



Dear Golf Club Member,
As we continue to monitor the COVID19 situation, a few changes we would like you to be aware of:

Tee Times

• Weekly events are suspended indefinitely beginning immediately. This includes Monday Toss Up, Tuesday Ladies Day, Wednesday Eudaley Game and Thursday Men’s Day.
• Monthly Events and Major Events are postponed until further notice. Included are Friday Couples, Ryder and Solmar Cup, Club Championship and Closing Days.
• Individual cart requests have been well received and current protocol remains in place at this time.

Club House

• The Outside and Food & Beverage staff will wear gloves at all times and be changed after four hours of continuous use.
• The locker rooms remain open at this time for access to restrooms as well as your personal locker.  Effective immediately locker rooms are not to be used as a place of gathering. This includes all activities such as mahjong, bridge, knitting or socializing before and after golf.
• The fruit and peanuts served in the card rooms will now be in individual cups.

Pro Shop

• In an effort to minimize human contact, the Golf Staff will be reduced on a daily basis. If we are unable to answer the phone immediately, please leave a message or email us.
• Please make an effort to minimize traffic through the Pro Shop.
• All credit book money will remain valid through November 1
st.

Golf Course

• The ice and water cooler at the restroom on the Front 9 has been removed. Bottled water is provided in each cart and you are welcome to more at the turn.
• We have removed all plastic cups, lids and straws from the water stations. Please bring your own cup to fill.
• Flag sticks have been removed from the putting green

Food and Beverage

• Remains open for Take Out only.
• We are currently offering both take-out and delivery options 7 days a week from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Attached is the lunch & pizza menu.
• Dinner take-out and delivery is currently available this Friday Night until 6 pm.
• If you are interested in dinner, please let us know as early in the day as possible so we can be best prepared.

Staff

Many of you have inquired about the impact COVID19 has had on staff.  All staff will continue being paid their normal wages at this time regardless of any reductions to their scheduled hours.  In an effort to reduce human contact within the Golf Course Maintenance department, we will revise staffing levels and scheduling effective Monday.  The meeting space, restroom and lunch room are relatively confined for more than 20 employees daily.  Therefore, effective Monday, we will divide the staff in half.  While one half of the staff is working four consecutive 10 hour days, the other half of the staff will have 4 days off.  This translates into 70 hours per pay period for which all employees will be paid 80 hours. Additionally, it provides the entire crew with more time to manage family obligations.  For the short term, some detail work (such as cart path edging) may be less frequent and maintenance practices may be executed at different hours of the day.  We ask for your understanding to any disruptions in your round.
