Emma Baker moved to Louisville in September 2014. She joined BAREfit soon after and became an avid BAREfitter. Her affinity for sport and fitness started at a young age with little league and substantially grew so by middle and high school she was involved in sports year round. This continued on into college where it inspired her to get her degree in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa. She finished in 2012. What drew her to BAREfit was the environment it possessed, encompassing both an atmosphere of health and wellness but also a focus on environment sustainability and supporting the local community. As she has stayed involved, she has experienced many health benefits from this type of fitness and desires to help others experience the same.

When not at the BAREfit worksite, Emma loves to travel, try new adventurous things, swing dance, play ultimate frisbee, and just have a good conversation with friends. Oh-- and a good cup of tea.
